2001-09-22: NetBSD/atari switches to ELF
Thomas Gerner has committed changes to convert the NetBSD/atari port to ELF. With the COMPAT_AOUT_M68K kernel option, all your old a.out binaries should still work. Note that a.out versions of ifconfig(8) and route(8) will not work due to some structure alignment problems.

A NetBSD/atari ELF snapshot is available in the atari snapshot area of the ftp server.

1999-07-06: New XF68_FBDev X server available
An updated XF68_FBDev X server version 3.3.3.1 is available on ftp.NetBSD.org in /pub/NetBSD/arch/atari/1.4-Updates. This server supports 16 and 256 colors.

May 1999
1999-05-24: New HADES 1.4 kernel available
An updated 1.4 kernel for the HADES is available on ftp.NetBSD.org in /pub/NetBSD/arch/atari/1.4-Updates. This fixes bugs in initialisation of the et4000 card.

1999-05-24: New loadbsd.ttp
A new loadbsd that supports the CT2 accelerator board and is able to load gzipped kernel images, also available on ftp.NetBSD.org in /pub/NetBSD/arch/atari/1.4-Updates.

1999-05-12: NetBSD-1.4 released
The NetBSD 1.4 release supports sixteen architectures, and was distributed free by Usenix to all 1999 ATC attendees.
